IPTV subscription

How our plans work: pick a pack and a duration, pay once in Canadian dollars, and get your access by e-mail within minutes.

Northline IPTV team · 23 min read · updated October 20, 2026
IPTV subscription

Every Northline plan is one pack plus one duration. The pack decides the catalogue; the duration decides how long access lasts: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.

You pay once, in Canadian dollars, by card or PayPal. Nothing renews by itself and there is no contract.

For a given pack, the catalogue is the same whatever the duration. Only the length of access changes.

Choose this plan

This page explains how an IPTV subscription works at Northline IPTV, from the choice of pack to the moment your first channel plays and the day your access ends. We wrote it as a set of plain rules, each followed by what it means for you. You will find the three packs compared, the four durations compared, the checks to make before you pay, and the guides that go deeper into price, payment and each duration. If something here is unclear, our support team answers 7 days a week by e-mail and WhatsApp, in English and French. Read the rules first, then pick the plan that fits your home.

How to use this page: if you already know the pack you want, jump to the section on durations. If you are comparing providers, start with the rules that apply to every plan. If you only need a price, open a pack’s product page; the amount shown there at checkout is the amount you pay, once.

IPTV subscription guides in this section

Four guides sit under this page. Each covers one part of the plan decision in more detail, so this overview can stay short on each point. Open the one that matches your question.

A suggested reading order, if you are starting from zero: the price guide to understand how durations compare, the payment guide to see what happens at checkout, then the guide for the length you are leaning towards. If you are returning after a first plan, the guide for your next length is usually enough on its own.

Each guide follows the same pattern as this page: a rule, then what it means for you. None of them prints a price, because prices can change and we would rather send you to the figure shown at checkout than leave an old one in a guide. What this means for you: the guides explain how the plans work, and the product pages show what they cost today.

How an IPTV subscription is built at Northline

A plan has two parts, chosen separately. The first is the pack, which decides the size of the catalogue and the picture qualities. The second is the duration, which decides how long your access lasts. You choose one of each when you order, and the combination is your plan.

WatchIn a supported player

Keeping the two choices separate has a practical effect. You do not get a smaller catalogue by picking a shorter duration, and you do not unlock more content by paying for a longer one. A 1-month Premium Pack and a 12-month Premium Pack open the same content. Only the length of access changes. The same is true for the two other packs.

What this means for you: decide the pack based on what you watch and the screen you watch it on. Decide the duration based on how sure you are and how long you plan to watch. Those are two different questions, and answering them one at a time makes the choice simpler.

The three packs side by side

Northline sells three packs, and each one mixes live channels, series and films. The catalogue includes French-language and international content. When one language matters to your household, write to support before you order; a straight answer beats a wrong purchase, for you and for us.

Read the table by rows, not columns. Rows four to eight barely change across the packs: same connection rule, 4K in all three, same lengths, no renewal, no contract. The first three rows are where the packs really differ. The VIP Premium Pack has the largest series library of the three. The Ultimate 4K Pack has the largest movie library and is built around 4K channels. The Premium Pack is the entry point, with plenty to explore while you learn your player.

Which pack fits which home

The three packs share the same rules. They differ in size and in focus. Two questions usually decide the pack: what you watch most, and the screen and line you watch it on. Here are the situations we see most, and the pack we suggest for each.

If you are new to IPTV and mostly watch live channels

A large live line-up and a solid film library, without paying for the biggest catalogue before you know your habits.

Then: the Premium Pack
If your evenings are about series

Several people, several tastes, and long series to follow. Depth in the series library matters more than anything else.

Then: the VIP Premium Pack
If you have a 4K TV, a 4K device and a strong line

A setup that can show 4K and a line that gives that screen 25 Mbps steadily.

Then: the Ultimate 4K Pack
If your TV or line cannot handle 4K

A 4K-focused pack would leave its main strength unused on your screen.

Then: Premium or VIP Premium, both with HD, Full HD and 4K
If you need a specific language

The catalogue includes French-language and international content, and we will not guess about the rest.

Then: ask support before ordering

Not sure after this? Look at two things only: the TV you watch on most, and the speed your line delivers in that room in the evening. Those two answers point to the right pack in most homes. If they do not, write to us and describe your setup. We will suggest a pack and explain why, and we will tell you honestly if your setup is not a good fit for 4K.

Four durations, compared

There are four durations: 1, 3, 6 and 12 months. Each one is a single purchase. When it ends, access stops, and you decide then whether to order again. The table sets them side by side. Prices are left out on purpose; see current prices on each pack’s product page.

The trade-off is simple. Shorter durations keep more choices open and ask for a smaller payment at once. Longer durations cost less per month and save you from reordering. Neither one is right for everyone. What this means for you: choose short to learn, choose long to save, and many homes do both, in that order.

Choosing the length of your IPTV subscription

A duration is a bet on how long you will watch and how sure you are that the service works in your home. Here is how we suggest you think about each one.

Wall calendar next to a television showing a year of IPTV access
A longer duration lowers the cost per month; a shorter one keeps your options open.

A duration for each situation

  • 1 month for a first order, a new device or a new internet line.
  • 3 months for a season, a stay at a cottage, or a home that likes to reassess often.
  • 6 months as a middle step once the service works well at home.
  • 12 months for a household that already knows what it wants.

If this is your first order with us, start with 1 month. No guide can predict how your TV, your router and your favourite player will behave together, and a month of real use answers that question. Our guide to the monthly plan explains how to test everything that matters in those weeks. If the month goes well, the next order can be longer.

If you already watch with us and the service works at home, the 12-month plan gives the lowest cost per month of the four durations and spares you from reordering through the year. The 3-month and 6-month durations sit in between. They suit homes that want a lower cost per month than a single month, without committing a full year at once.

What this means for you: there is no wrong first step. Because nothing renews by itself, you can move from one duration to another at the end of each period, simply by choosing a different one when you order again.

What every plan includes

Whatever pack and duration you choose, every IPTV subscription includes the same basics. These do not change from one plan to another.

Your access details

Xtream Codes (server URL, username and password) or an M3U link, sent by e-mail within minutes.

1 simultaneous connection

Install the login on several devices and use them one at a time.

HD, Full HD and 4K

All three packs carry content in the three qualities. The Ultimate 4K Pack is built around 4K.

Live, series and movies

Every pack has all three, with French-language and international content.

Support 7 days a week

By e-mail and WhatsApp, in English and French, before and after you order.

Your choice of device

Smart TVs, TV boxes, Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, phones, tablets and PC.

What a plan does not include is just as clear. It does not include a player licence: some players ask for one from their publisher, and we are independent from app publishers, so check the current price on the app’s official website. It does not include a device. And it does not include more than one simultaneous screen unless you arrange that with support. What this means for you: the price you see at checkout covers your access to the pack for the duration you chose, and nothing is added later.

The rules that apply to every plan

These rules are the same for every pack and every duration. We keep them short on purpose, and we pair each one with what it means for you.

One-time payment

You pay once for the duration you choose. We do not take a second payment later. For you: no surprise charge on your next card or PayPal statement.

No automatic renewal

When your plan ends, it simply ends. To continue, you place a new order. For you: you never need to remember to cancel anything, but you do need to remember the end date.

No contract

There is no minimum term and nothing to sign. For you: the duration you buy is the whole commitment.

1 simultaneous connection

Each pack allows one stream at a time. The same login can sit on your living-room TV, your bedroom box and your phone. For you: use them one at a time, or a second screen will conflict with the first.

More screens on request

If your home needs more than one screen at the same time, write to support. They give you the conditions and the price for your case. For you: ask before you rely on it; we do not publish a multi-screen offer.

One more point, stated neutrally because people ask: the technology is legal; whether a service is legal depends on the broadcasting rights it holds, so check before subscribing. Our commitments as a provider page explains the promises we make on every order.

Questions before you choose

Tell us your device, your player and what you want to watch. Support answers 7 days a week by e-mail and WhatsApp, in English and French.

Ask support

From order to first channel

The order process is short. We describe each step so you know what to expect and when. There is no waiting period and no installation visit.

  1. Step 1

    Pick a pack

Compare the three packs above. If you need a specific language, ask support before ordering.

  2. Step 2

    Pick a duration

Choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 months on the pack’s product page, where the current price is shown.

  3. Step 3

    Pay once

Pay in Canadian dollars by card or PayPal. There is no contract to sign and no renewal to set up.

  4. Within minutes

    Check your inbox

The message holds Xtream Codes details or an M3U link. If it hides, the spam folder is the first place to look.

  5. Same evening

    Install a player and watch

Get a supported player from your device’s official app store, enter your details and open a channel.

A word on timing. Your access is e-mailed within minutes of a confirmed payment, so what you see on your side depends mostly on the payment going through and on your inbox. If your bank or PayPal asks you to approve the payment, approve it straight away; the clock starts from there. If the message seems slow, check spam and promotions before anything else, then write to us with the address you used.

If you order in the evening, you can usually watch the same evening. If the e-mail does not arrive, or a player will not accept your details, contact us by e-mail or WhatsApp. Our page on how activation works covers what happens between payment and the e-mail, and the setup guide walks through the first login on each kind of device.

Paying once, in Canadian dollars

You pay for your plan in one payment, in Canadian dollars, by card or PayPal. There is no deposit, no instalment and no stored payment that runs again later. The amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay.

Person completing a one-time online payment for an IPTV plan on a laptop
One payment, in Canadian dollars, by card or PayPal. Nothing is charged again later.

What paying once means in practice

  • The checkout total is the whole cost of that plan.
  • No recurring charge appears on your statement afterwards.
  • Paying in Canadian dollars avoids a currency conversion step on Canadian cards.
  • Your receipt and your access arrive by e-mail.

Which of the two you use is up to you. Some customers prefer PayPal because it keeps their card number away from the checkout page. Others prefer a card because it is quicker. Both lead to the same plan and the same access. Our guide on paying your IPTV provider explains both methods in more detail, with the safety habits we recommend for any online purchase.

What this means for you: there is nothing to cancel later, and your next statement shows only the payment you made. If you want to continue after your plan ends, you make a new payment, by your own choice, at that time.

How our prices work, without amounts here

You will not find an amount on this page or in any of our guides. That is deliberate. Prices can change, and a figure written in a guide stays there long after it is out of date. The product page shows the current price for each pack and duration at the moment you order, and that is the price you pay.

What we can explain without amounts is how the prices are built. Each pack has its own price for each duration. Within a pack, a longer duration costs more in total but less per month. The 1-month duration has the highest cost per month; the 12-month duration has the lowest. Across packs, the price follows the size and focus of the catalogue.

The figure at checkout is the figure you pay, once. No guide on this site will ever contradict it.

Our guide to IPTV subscription prices goes further: how to compare durations by cost per month, what is included in the price and what is not, and how to compare our prices with another provider’s on equal terms. What this means for you: you can understand the pricing logic here, then check the exact figure on the product page in one click.

Checks before you order an IPTV subscription

An IPTV subscription only works as well as the connection and the device behind it. Check these three things before you pay. If any of them is uncertain, ask support first.

Steady speed needed for one screen

HD10 Mbps
Full HD15 Mbps
4K25 Mbps

Internet speed per screen. Plan for 10 Mbps for HD, 15 Mbps for Full HD and 25 Mbps for 4K, tested on the screen that will play, at the busy evening hour. If support sets up extra simultaneous screens for you, add them up: a 4K living-room TV plus an HD tablet in the kitchen add up to 35 Mbps. Other people in your home who stream, game or work online use the same line, so leave room.

Devices. The supported list covers Samsung and LG smart TVs, Android TV and Google TV boxes, the Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, iPhone and iPad, Android phones and tablets, and the PC. Our devices guide compares them.

Players. Six players are known to work with our access: IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, Smart IPTV, IBO Player, XCIPTV and GSE Smart IPTV. Each comes from your device’s official app store. Our guide to IPTV apps shows which runs on which device.

  • Your main TV, box or stick is on the supported list.
  • A supported player exists for it in the official app store.
  • Your evening speed at that screen covers the quality you want.
  • Everyone at home understands the one-screen-at-a-time rule.
  • If you need a specific language, support has confirmed it.
  • You know which e-mail inbox the access will go to.

What this means for you: if every line is ticked, you are ready. If you are unsure about any of them, ask support before ordering. We will tell you honestly whether your setup is a good fit.

One connection, and more screens on request

Every pack includes 1 simultaneous connection. This is the rule that most affects how a household uses a plan, so here is a fair view of what it means.

One connection works well if

  • One main TV is used most evenings
  • Other devices are used at different times
  • You live alone or as a couple who watch together
  • You want one simple plan and one payment

Ask support first if

  • Two people often watch different things at once
  • Children watch in their rooms while adults use the TV
  • A guest suite or basement unit has its own screen in use
  • You plan to watch on a phone while someone else uses the TV

Installing the same login on many of your own devices is allowed. What the rule counts is playback. Start a film on the tablet while the TV is still playing and one of the two stops, or the tablet is turned away. That is the rule working, not a fault.

If your household needs more than one screen at the same time, write to us through the contact page. Support will give you the conditions and the price for your case. We do not publish a multi-screen offer, because it depends on the request. Keep the login inside your own household. Lent to another home, it collides with the one-stream rule for both, and the access may end up blocked.

When your plan ends

Because nothing renews, the end of a plan is a quiet event. Access stops on its date, nothing is charged, and your player shows an expired message or refuses the login. If you want to continue, you choose again.

  1. Note the end date when you order. Put it in your calendar with a reminder a few days before.
  2. Decide in the last week. Same pack or another, same duration or another, or a pause.
  3. Order the next plan. Pick the pack and duration on the product page and pay once.
  4. Check the new e-mail. If the details differ from the previous ones, update the profile in your player.
  5. Remove old profiles. Delete any profile that still holds outdated details, so the player does not try it first.

If you want to change pack in the middle of a plan, write to support with your current pack and the one you want. They will explain the options for your case. You can also simply choose a different pack when your current plan ends. If your access stopped and you think it should still be running, write to us with your order confirmation. Our guide for login problems lists the messages that mean an access has ended and the ones that mean something else.

Deep dive: why we chose no automatic renewal

Automatic renewal is convenient for a provider and sometimes for a customer. It also means a charge can arrive months later, for a service you may have stopped using. We chose the opposite: every period is a decision you make. The cost of that choice is that you need to remember the end date. We think a calendar note is a fair price for never seeing a charge you did not expect.

Three example homes and the plan that fits each

Rules are easier to apply with a picture of a real setup. The three homes below are examples we built to show the reasoning, not customer stories. Each one combines a screen, a line and a habit, and arrives at a different plan.

Example homeScreen and lineHabitPackLength
A couple in a downtown condoOne Full HD TV on Wi-Fi, a line that holds 15 Mbps in the eveningLive channels at dinner, a film on weekendsPremium1 month first, then longer
A family in a two-storey houseLiving-room TV on a cable, tablets upstairsEveryone follows a different series, never at the same momentVIP Premium6 or 12 months once tested
A film fan with a basement theatre room4K TV and 4K box on a cable, line well above 25 MbpsLong films in 4K, mostly on weekendsUltimate 4K3 months, then decide

The condo. The TV shows Full HD, the line covers it, and the household mostly watches live channels. A 4K pack would add nothing they can see. The Premium Pack covers their habit, and a first month on their own Wi-Fi tells them whether a longer plan makes sense.

The family house. The deciding factor is series, and the VIP Premium Pack has the largest series library of the three. The family uses one screen at a time, which fits the single connection. If two children wanted to watch in their rooms at the same moment, the right step would be to ask support about extra screens before ordering, not to hope it works.

The theatre room. Everything in this setup can show 4K, and the line has room to spare. The Ultimate 4K Pack, built around 4K channels with the largest film library, matches the habit. Three months lets the owner judge the picture over a season before committing further.

What this means for you: start from your screen, your line and your habit, in that order. The pack and the length follow from those three facts more reliably than from a catalogue figure alone.

Plans for seasons, stays and life changes

Not every household watches the same amount all year. Canadian life has its own rhythm: long winter evenings indoors, a summer at the cottage or the lake, a school term in another city, a move between apartments on the first of the month. Because nothing renews, you can match the length of each plan to the stretch of life it covers.

Planner and television remote on a coffee table while choosing a plan length
Matching the length of a plan to the season you will watch avoids paying for quiet months.

A length for each stretch

  • Winter at home, when evenings are long: 3 or 6 months.
  • A summer stay with its own TV and internet: 1 or 3 months, at that address.
  • A school term in a student flat: a length that ends with the term.
  • A move in the coming weeks: 1 month until the new line is installed and tested.
  • A full year in one home, with a setup you trust: 12 months.

Two practical points make this work. First, the connection rule travels with the login, not the address: if you watch at the cottage, the TV at home should not be playing at the same moment. Second, a new place means a new line. Test the evening speed at the new screen before you choose 4K there, because a rural connection or a building’s shared network may not match what you have at home.

What this means for you: you never pay through months you do not plan to watch, as long as you choose the length with the season in mind. The monthly IPTV subscription is the natural fit for short stays and moves; the 12-month plan fits a settled home.

Common mistakes when choosing a plan

Most plan regrets come from a handful of choices made too quickly. Here are the ones we see most, so you can avoid them.

Do not choose the 4K pack for a screen that cannot show 4K. The Ultimate 4K Pack is built around 4K channels. On an HD TV, an older stick or a line under 25 Mbps at that screen, its main strength stays unused. Check the device and the evening speed first, or pick a pack that suits your current setup.

  • Starting with 12 months before testing the service on your own TV and network.
  • Assuming a longer duration unlocks more content. For a given pack, the catalogue is the same.
  • Planning on two screens at once without asking support first.
  • Ordering with an e-mail address you rarely check, then missing the access e-mail.
  • Forgetting the end date, then losing access on a busy evening.
  • Paying for a player licence before checking which players your device supports.
  • Ordering before asking about a language you need.

What this means for you: a few minutes of checks before you pay avoid every one of these. If you want a second opinion on your choice, send support your device, your speed and what you watch.

FAQ

Does my IPTV subscription renew automatically?

No. Each plan is paid for once and stops on its end date. Continuing means placing a fresh order, with whatever pack and length suit you at that point.

Is the catalogue bigger on a longer plan?

No. For a given pack, the catalogue is the same on 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Only the length of access changes.

Which duration has the lowest cost per month?

The 12-month duration. The 1-month duration has the highest cost per month, and 3 and 6 months sit in between. See current prices on each pack’s product page.

Can I change pack in the middle of a plan?

Tell support which pack you hold and which one you would like; they explain what is possible for your order. The simplest route is to pick the other pack when your period ends.

How many devices can I use?

Install the login on as many of your own devices as you wish; the rule is about playing, not installing. One stream plays at a time on every pack. If your household needs two at once, support quotes the conditions and the price for that case.

How fast do I get my access?

Minutes after the payment goes through, the details reach the inbox you gave at checkout. Search spam and promotions first, then write to us on WhatsApp or by e-mail if nothing is there.

Which payment methods do you accept?

A card or PayPal, in Canadian dollars, for a single payment. No contract follows it, so there is nothing to stop later.

Is there content in a specific language?

The catalogue includes French-language and international content. For any other language, write to support before you pay and get a clear answer first.

Is a player licence included in the plan?

No. A licence, when a player asks for one, is sold by that player’s publisher. Northline has no tie to those publishers; check the current price on the app’s official website.

Which plan should I choose for a first order?

Most first orders are best on 1 month, with the pack that matches your screen and what you watch. If everything works, choose a longer duration when the month ends.
